My own life and professional journey has been one of significant changes and transformations. Having worked in the area of transformative learning for many years, provides a powerful basis for my professional and life coaching services.

In part, this quote illustrates why, I thoroughly enjoy serving my coaching clients. I am passionate about supporting people in reaching their dreams. When I talk with people, I can see their potential, and their possibilities, sometimes with much greater confidence than they do! I find that coaching is a wonderful way to walk alongside people in their complex professional and personal life journeys and help them enjoy the continuing transformations they want for their lives!
I use our time together to help people clarify their goals and dreams, to develop a plan and strategies to reach it. We also work together to overcome the barriers that might have held you back previously. I believe that, great coaching is drawing success from within the person to the outside for them and the world to see!
Many of my clients also incorporate coaching and training in areas they have been seeking to learn: organizational skills, technology, e-learning, publishing, and more. As we develop your plan, we identify time lines for the goals and skills you need and we provide training or referrals to meet those needs. Many entrepreneurs, career changers, professionals, women, and faculty find this to be a powerful set of services for them.

About Dr. Kathy King
Dr. Kathleen P. King is a certified professional life coach, tenured full professor of education at Fordham University's Graduate School of Education in New York City, and president of Transformation Education, LLC. Her professional coaching success builds upon her extensive professional experience, academic study and continued research in adult education and higher education.
Dr. King has successfully assisted entrepreneurs and small business owners from many sectors, in launching their professional, business and life dreams. As an expert in how adults successfully navigate the changes within and across their lives, her friendly, but goal-oriented approach guides them in identifying their needs, goals and vision, building solutions and pursuing them. Her support is always in a positive and empowering direction. Clients have added value with Dr. King as their business and professional coach, as they tap her vast network of resources, consulting skills and technical abilities which provide services and referrals.
A unique specialty of Dr. King's is her faculty coaching. She has successfully guided numerous faculty members through the tenure and promotion process, as well as launched many beginning and seasoned academics into more rewarding and productive careers. Dr. King is an award winning author of 17 books and over 145 published articles and research papers. Her books and web-based audio materials are used as course materials in universities worldwide and have a large following in the areas of faculty development, transformative learning, women's empowerment, diversity issues, adult learning and distance education. Dr. King is also a popular, motivational keynote speaker and seminar leader in the USA and abroad for academic conferences and faculty groups.
Kathy has an EdD and MEd in Higher & Adult Education from Widener University, an MA in Theology, and a BA from Brown University. Providence, RI. She is certified in professional coaching by Coaches Institute International.
