Valerie Murrell Beckham has an intense passion to help women who are struggling personally, emotionally, and spiritually. Her desire is to help them overcome obstacles and challenges in order to achieve personal success by establishing positive lifestyle changes that will encourage them to access and activate their God given talents and abilities. For over 15 years Valerie has worked with people struggling with drug addictions. Since 1998, her work has focused on women in recovery from substance abuse, women fleeing domestic violence situations, and women struggling with other self destructive behaviors.
About Valerie
Valerie’s thirst for knowledge and information has motivated her to become a Certified Professional Coach. She has also studied at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Counseling in 2006. Valerie has also received a Christian Counseling Certification through Messiah Method Ministries in 2009, and is a member of ABBA (American Board for Biblical Accountability). Additional trainings received focused on Drug & Alcohol Addictions, Trauma Resolution, and Stress & Trauma Care.
Valerie’s call to spiritual leadership has led her to teach adult, youth, and children’s Bible study classes at her home church in Missouri City, Texas, where she is a lay minister and Decision Time Counselor. Valerie is also a former Women’s Ministry leader and continues to assist within the ministry whenever she is needed.
