Divorce.
Yes, this is an extraordinarily difficult time for you.
Complicated by issues such as custody, support, and visitation - as well as the deeper, darker issues that can and do arise - a divorce can seem like the end. It is. It's the end of a bad time.
Which means it's also the beginning of something great, if you decide to make that happen.
You can. And with me by your side, coaching you every step of the way, you will.
I'm Jenna, a Certified Professional Life Coach. My specialty is Divorce Coaching, which isn't as narrow a field as you may suspect. My practice is, in all but the most unusual cases, limited to serving women - because I also specialize in divorces where there has been abuse. As well as being a CPLC, I am also certified by my state in Crisis Advocacy, which allowed me to work for battered women through the local Crisis Center. I am well-acquainted with the complicated issues that any divorce presents; however, I am uniquely equipped to deal with your needs as a soon-to-be-former abuse target.
Included in my Coaching services, which begin at the point of a filing - or at any time thereafter - are such issues as Courtroom Demeanor, Finances, Parenting, Socialization, Vocational Pursuits, and Self-Care/Wellness. If the need arises, I am also there for you as a support source throughout any legal proceeding - which, for many women, is the most stressful aspect of the process. You will also be offered membership to my website, where you can meet, support, and be supported by other women who share your concerns.
I am further available for, and strongly encourage, Divorce Aftercare. Let's discuss that more when we meet.
My initial consultation is free, and my fees take into account your current financial situation. Email me today with your phone number (as I'm sure you can understand, in my line of work I need to authenticate clients), and let's talk it over.
You can get from where you are to where you want to go. I can help. Let's get that vision for your life, the one that you've carried inside you, out there for you to acknowledge - and then, let's turn it into your reality.
See you soon -

About Divorce Coaching
Whether or not you're emerging from an abusive situation, the Family Court System can seem like it was created to intimidate.
The players in the System can cause you enough stress to seriously impact your life - your mental acuity, your parenting skills, your health, your job, your spiritual walk... All of these can be hurt, and hurt badly by the process.
Navigating your way through a divorce will likely create in you feelings of fear, anger, confusion, and loss of personal power. That loss of your own power and dignity helps cultivate and perpetuate the negativity that may cause you to make mistakes - mistakes which can cost you dearly. Managed incorrectly (or not managed at all), you may come out the other side of a divorce as a broken, hesitant person.
You need to decide, for and within yourself, that you will come out better for this.
It is my job, as your Coach, to help you weather this storm in ways that help you to preserve your dignity and retain your power over yourself. I will be there to support you as you travel this road: I will be there to help you determine where you want your life to go, and then how you will get yourself there. This isn't therapy: This is about you, right where you stand now, articulating your goals and your dreams, and - with my help and support - drawing your own map of how and when to arrive where you want to go. No matter what the obstacles may be, you can get there - better and stronger than you were.
Now that's personal power.
About Jenna
Jenna is a divorced mother of two. Her divorce, after almost 20 years of marriage - during which time she was a housewife, and homeschooled her two children - opened her eyes to the difficulties that women face in the culture and in the court system.
She is trained and Certified as a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Advocate, and worked for her local Crisis Center. She is well-versed in many common aspects and legal points of divorce, such as Orders of Protection, Child Support, Batterer Intervention programs, Parental Alienation Syndrome, predatory lawyers, the Male Rights Movement, and more. She is also educated in many of the causes of divorce, such as abuse, infidelity/pornography, and addiction, and is therefore able to assist in the aftermath; furthermore, her subspecialty concerns divorce within the Christian religion, and the special problems that can confront women of faith who are divorcing or being divorced.
She has written columns for two different newspapers in two states, is completing her first novel, and has run three websites that deal with DV and women's issues.
But her passion is in coming alongside a woman who is struggling with not only these problems, but with the secondary effects that accompany them. Of primary concern to her is that women relearn the need to - and the methods of - taking care of their minds, souls, and bodies. As such, Life and Divorce Coaching was a natural career choice for her.
