Image Matters:
People form opinions about you, based on what they see and hear, in a matter of thirty seconds. Correct or not, these first impressions are usually lasting impressions and may represent a one-time opportunity at getting something you want - “you never get a second chance to make a first impression.” The impression you make can be effective, bland, even regrettable.
“Image” refers to your clothing, body language, poise and demeanor; in other words, the way you look, act and express yourself both verbally and non-verbally. Consider your image. Our unique approach to life coaching and image consulting gels in Effective Presence™ workshops where we incorporate techniques and exercises used by life coaches, image consultants and trained professional actors. We subscribe to the notion that a truly effective presence comes from the heart and mind of thoughtful people who are cognizant of their environment and who respond to it appropriately - in their own way.
Effective Presence™
Effective Presence ™ (“EP”) is a personal image-development and life-coaching service for groups or individuals. In a safe and trusting workshop environment, clients participate in exercises and techniques used by life coaches, image consultants and trained professional actors to improve their lives and professional skills.
Consider EP a gym for building strength-of-character. A place to learn, exercise and practice such things as:
- Self-awareness and awareness of your surroundings
- Non-verbal communication (posture, poise, demeanor, energy, grace, gestures, physical habits)
- Verbal communication (supporting your voice, diction, demeanor while speaking, confidence, humor, grace)
- Looking your best and authentic self
- The well-mannered person (etiquette vs. good manners)

- Job interviews
- Work environment
- Dating
- Dining
