Katie Pearl is a Certified Professional Coach and Individual Strategist, helping people around the country move past their blocks and assumptions into the lives they want to be living.  Together with her clients, Katie successfully activates the kind of change that puts people in control of their own lives and steadily moves them towards achieving goals both large and small.

WHY THEATER?

Katie has spent 15 years directing award-winning theater and making critically acclaimed performance projects throughout the country.  Her work in theater has deeply influenced her coaching philosophy and techniques.  As a theater director, Katie’s job is to listen attentively to her actors and collaborators, steering them towards a connected and fulfilling course of action that leads to a cohesive, meaningful, and successful production.  As a coach, Katie focuses that same empathetic attention onto you– paying particular attention to your words, actions, and non-verbal cues in order to understand both your goals and your obstacles.  In her coaching, Katie pulls tools directly from her theater work and applies them to you—- together you will creatively and compassionately examine where you want to be and what’s stopping you from getting there; together you will chart a course that provides clear, achievable action steps that move you towards that vision.

INDIVIDUAL STRATEGY:

Many of us are aware that businesses use strategic planning to ensure success.  Few of us think to incorporate strategic planning into our own lives.  The term ‘Individual Strategy’ applies to all levels of your life.

You have goals you long to achieve undermined by patterns holding you back; dreams you hold dear weighed down by fears you’re not sure how to address; conversations you want to have kept silent by a confidence you can’t quite maintain.   Remember:  most often, you also have abilities and strengths you’re not tapping into.  We’ll identify those strengths, and use them to create a strategic plan for each area of your life you want to address. As a coach and strategist, my goal is for you to become a capable SELF-strategist, successfully navigating yourself through events and blocks that would have stymied you in the past.

Whatever your age, place in life, or line of work, I consider my clients to be my peers.  Our relationship is collaborative. We both bring expertise to the conversation, and I will make sure we both use it.
