About Life Coaching

Isn't it interesting. We are immersed in the academic world for many years growing up, often moving on to even more years of education, and then to the professional world. Yet, it often seems we still can't figure it out; our purpose in life, where we are headed, or why we are not satisfied or happy. We didn't learn about that.

I am delighted to join you in your walk and help you to articulate what you really want, clarify what is important to you, identify your roadblocks, and eliminate your limiting beliefs and behaviors. I will help you to strategize and design a plan to achieve your goals. My commitment is to you, as your encourager and support person; someone who will help you stay inspired and motivate you to maintain momentum.

It has been stated in the scriptures, that a child left to himself brings his mother to shame. Around 470 BC, Socrates complained about the youth of his day, indicating that the problems related to children even then, were the same problems parents in our contemporary culture, experience today.

Not all people have been victims of directionless parenting, and not all families struggle with parenting issues. Unfortunately, many do.

In spite of unlimited access to knowledge, education and technology, parents today remain baffled by the task of raising their children.

The individual who learns to master himself will master his life and his future. Likewise, the child who learns to master himself will reap the rewards of a much more satisfying life and meet with success in his endeavors.

When we finally come to understand that life does not happen by accident or by chance, we are able to take back the power we may have given away in the past. We then understand that success, however one defines it, is available, not only to the lucky or the privileged.

Success comes by design. This concept holds enormous implications for our lives, as adults, and for our children. We can become the master of our lives and teach our children likewise. By sharing the wisdom of self-mastery with our children, we in turn, empower them, preparing them for success in their lives. We will then have children who demonstrate confidence, love, respect, and kindness; children who will be able to move through the many stages of life with more ease and grace.

These children will make significant contribution in their particular spheres.

 Vicki has always known that her purpose in life is that of encourager, helper, and support person. The desire to help others led her to work in the human services field which included the elderly and mentally-challenged populations. After marriage, her decision to homeschool her four children enabled her to consolidate her passion for learning about family relationships and dialogue, with the desire to equip her children with tools for life. These experiences gave her opportunities, following completion of her children’s schooling, to assist other families, employed as a nanny and tutor. In addition, Vicki has served people through independent volunteering.

In her role as mother, and teacher of her children, Vicki has had the privilege of learning valuable concepts for parenting, which can help parents to recover their power and assist their children in the maturing process. She is well- acquainted with the challenges of managing a busy household while addressing the various  aspects of the home including academics, health, nutrition, and life management. Her experiences as a residential manager for the handicapped, as homeschooling mother, nanny and tutor, have provided endless opportunities for growth and self-development. Vicki’s compassion, and desire to help free others from self-imposed limitations, have led her to assist people in several arenas of life. She now offers herself, partnering with you in the areas of life coaching, parenting coaching, teen and young-adult coaching, and wellness and nutritional coaching.  She is prepared to join you in your walk, moving forward in your life, one step at a time, with confidence. Vicki can also help build a strong foundation for your children’s lives, from birth to young -adult.
