Zeynep Kaymaz is a certified professional life and career coach, helping people, especially women in transition, to create a structure to find balance and fulfillment in their lives. Changes and challenges in her own life have stimulated Zeynep to embark on a journey of ongoing self-discovery and self-development. She has been able to develop a profound understanding of the relationship between brain-emotions-actions, hence to discern that the awareness of our thoughts and beliefs is the first step towards achieving our goals. She has also recognized the importance of a clear vision of what we want and the perseverance in pursuing our goals.
Zeynep has a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Management in Tourism and Environmental Planning. In addition, she has significant professional experience in the areas of business development, planning, restructuring, organization, and marketing relations.
Later in her professional career, as a Consultant and Project Manager at Sabanci University, a private university in Turkey, and as the Associate Secretary General at Yeditepe University, one of Turkey's largest private universities, she established and managed career support and individual development departments for students and employees. She also started counseling them. With her vigorous passion towards a fulfilled life, she helped them discover their true selves, realize their own power, and create their preferred future of a fulfilled life.
After getting married and relocating to the USA, she resolved to change her career, and to move to the field of coaching, which had always been a passion of hers. Accordingly, she enrolled in the coaching program of ICA (International Coach Academy), and started coaching professionally. She also received a Certified Professional Coach certification from CII (Coaches Institute International).
Her encounters with long-lasting health issues, challenges of the married life and extended families, relocating and settling into another country, career change, and various other occurrences that helped her grow and evolve, also shaped her niche in coaching. Hence, she has been supporting people in various life transitions.
Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Zeynep now lives in Washington DC, USA with her husband.
