Chioma Adaku-Griffin, CPC

Certified Life and Military Transition Coach

Chioma Adaku-Griffin has dedicated her life to helping others to find balance and alignment personally and professionally. Chioma’s life experience as a Military Spouse and social change activist have led her on a path of self-discovery to empower and raise consciousness with active duty service women and men of the military, veterans, and their dependents. With over 20 year’s professional experience in the non-profit sector, academic and corporate environments, she now splits her time between mediation and life coaching in a private practice. Each area of her practice informs and supports the other.

Chioma's mediation and coaching goals mirrors that of her global connection in her former work as a social change activist working on Fair Trade and the Temporary Assistance for Needy Family Campaigns and as a military outreach specialist with Empire State College. She has combined her organizing experience to assist clients in meeting their personal and professional goals. The impact of her organizing has been centered on families and promoting programs that are most beneficial for individuals and their dependents.

Chioma is someone that has already been through exactly what you're going through right now and made it through successfully. Have you ever wanted to sit down with someone that listens to the kind of hard questions that were too embarrassing to ask? You can be extremely smart, but true wisdom only comes through personally experiencing the trials of life. See how others just like you did it.

As your life coach or mediator, I help you discover your life path, get your work and life in balance, partner with you to define your next steps for transitions or resolutions.

What People Say About Chioma

"It is wonderful to see Chioma take this positive step in her life and in the life of others. The clients will benefit from her positive spirit, integrity, and knowledge of life's challenges. Best wishes for Chioma in this endeavor and I ...look forward to hearing great things from this new journey!” Dovie D. Major, Bridgestone Operations Manager, Des Moines, IA

"I can think of no better person to exude passion and vigor in "coaching"--i.e., giving guidance and motivation--to people in need. Bringing realism and levity to life's challenges are assets this woman adds to their mission...Chioma is the one!”
Perry Redd, Community Activist, Washington, DC

"Chioma has always been inspiring to me. She definitely served as my personal "life coach" during a very difficult career time in my life. She gave me useful and practical advice while still taking into account my emotions. She is AWESOME!!!"Daynise Couch, Freelance Writer and Model, Nashville, Tennessee

"I first met Chioma in East Tennessee a decade ago. I was new to the region, new to my position at a local newspaper and eager to combine my concern about issues with my abilities as a communicator. I found Chioma to be someone whose insight, knowledg...e of the area and friendship invaluable. One of the highlights of knowing her was receipt of an award from her organization. The Sankofa award remains one of my cherished possessions because it symbolized someone taking the time to recognize tasks that perhaps do not always gain a lot of attention unless it's in the wake of a controversial or A1 story. But that is how Chioma normally interacted with people in East Tennessee. In the words of Alex Haley, she routinely "found the good and praised it." I am encouraged to learn about her desire to assist people as a life coach, someone charged with helping people find direction, understand their purpose and enjoy the process along the way."Jeannine Hunter, Journalist, Nashville, Tennessee
