Creativity Coaching
What is Creativity?
According to Merriam-Webster, it’s:
1. The quality of being creative
2. The ability to create
Creativity encompasses these definitions and so much more because it is not something easily defined or summarized. It is found in the arts but also in the sciences. It is manifested in every area of our lives, sometimes without our conscious awareness. It is a desire to expand what currently exists and to manifest a personal sense of meaning. Discovery and innovation are fueled by creativity.
Are You Creative?
Yes! The quality of being creative and the ability to create are things everyone is born with, and something everyone can further develop. We are all the products of creativity and we in turn are all creators. We all have a unique creative
fingerprint.
How Can Creativity Coaching Help You?
Creativity Coaching can help you manifest your creative potential. Coaching is not psychotherapy or counseling, or someone telling you what to do. Coaching provides the accountability and structure necessary to finish a project or achieve a goal. We all have those “Aha!!” moments, that next great idea, but how many of us see a finished product? To make your project or idea tangible you need a plan, a road map to success. A good creativity coach will listen to your needs and assist you in developing a clear plan for the future. Have you ever felt that your family and friends don’t take your creative ideas or plans seriously? If you feel that no one truly believes in and supports your creative efforts, you need a coach. A coach can give you the support you need to achieve your dreams. If you want to break through creative roadblocks like self-doubt, performance anxiety, fear of failure and mistakes, recover from criticism or rejection, or resolve practical issues such as choosing a project or marketing your work, a coach can help.
