Life Coaching Approach
Having been a psychologist in Arizona in private practice for many years, it has been a privilege and deeply meaningful to help individuals who were in need of long term psychotherapy. My practice specialized in highly functional people, including college students, professionals, and homemakers who were limited in some ways by early childhood issues or difficulties. I am still licensed in Arizona and am in the process of applying to be licensed as a psychologist in California. In 2009, I became a Certified Professional Life Coach through CII because I wanted to help people make more immediate, practical, and focused changes in their lives. Coaching offers a more strategic, goal-oriented approach to personal growth by providing motivational support and assistance to overcome current obstacles in your life and to clarify and achieve your goals and dreams. As my life coaching client, you will receive skillful, thoughtful listening, help clarifying your situation and goals, and concrete, creative support as you progressively accomplish them. To my coaching clients, I bring dedication, compassion, light-heartedness, and kind insight. I have been trained in meditation and spiritual counseling; and, my spiritual orientation is comprehensive and interfaith. My overall perspective is integrative and holistic, carefully considering what is optimal for your whole being: body, mind, heart and spirit.
