Transitional Life Coaching

Transitions in many tribal societies are viewed as a time of power and coming into one's own.  Today, transitions are often seen as unwanted and scary.  Using the laws of attraction and of allowing, you can come to understand that you have the ability to be happy in all areas of your life - including the areas of relationships, career, emotions, spirituality, physical well-being, financial well-being, and our contribution to the world.

I work with women at various transition points - whether that be an awakening that a woman has that she wants to experience, be or do something else in her life, or an actual experience, such as the ending of a relationship, the decision to parent by adoption, fostering or giving birth, a change in her career, the desire to deepen her spiritual and emotional being, or a desire to be in the relationship of her dreams.

Transitions are the moments between what was, and what will be. These in between times can be unsettling, or they can bring great joy.  Using a life coach helps you uncover your deepest desires, and provides you with the tools and accountability partner to keep you moving forward and creating the life of your dreams.

Adoption Coaching

Choosing adoption as an avenue to parenting is often a multi-step, time-spanning decision.  Although there are some that know from an early age that they will adopt in order to become a parent, many more start out the parenting journey by assuming they will become pregnant.  Some will discover they are infertile, others are single, either by choice or circumstance, and choose to not go through pregnancy by themselves.  Gay and lesbian singles and couples may also come to adoption as their way to become a parent.

Adoption life coaching helps each individual or couple walk along the path to the moment they meet their child. It also provides support and direction when raising their adopted child.  Many adopted children have a myriad of questions about their background.  Multi-cultural families may face intrusive questioning, and their children may face prejudice and stereotypes.

I bring a great deal of experience, both professional and personal to adoption coaching.  I am adopted, from the era of "closed adoptions".  I have worked as a social worker in Child Welfare since 1991 and have worked with and trained many adoptive, foster and relative adoptive parents.  I have two adopted girls from China.  I am part of a multi-generational adoptive family, a trans-racial family, and a lesbian family.  I have been surrounded and embraced by adoption all of my life.

Choosing an adoption life coach during this transformative time in your life allows you to prepare yourself and your family for the myriad of changes - both wonderful and challenging, expected and unexpected, that the adoption journey will bring to you.  I look forward to walking this journey along side you.

Spiritual Coaching

I approach all coaching from a spiritual perspective.  I truly believe that being in touch with the Source of All brings not only joy, but an ease in one's life.  I use the teachings of Abraham-Hicks as a foundation for my life and for coaching.  If you are looking for a coach who honors the spiritual journey, the connection we have with our deepest and highest self, I would be honored to share that journey with you.
