Roberta Gibson, CPC

Certified Professional Coach, Inspirational Speaker, Organizer, Visionary, and Pastor

For over 10 years my life’s work has been dedicated to working with people who have a hard time grounding themselves and taking action on things that matter most to them. My clients come from all sorts of backgrounds and walks of life—divorce, substance abuse, low self esteem; and those that need encouragement in business development and marketing visions. I am blessed with a unique gift to stimulate critical thinking that empowers individuals to reach deep within to over come boundaries and bring clarity, motivation, direction and purpose.

Critical thinking calls for a persistent effort to examine any belief or supposed form of knowledge in the light of the evidence that supports it and the further conclusions to which it tends. It also generally requires the ability to recognize problems, to find workable means for meeting those problems, to gather pertinent (relevant) information, to recognize unstated assumptions and values. If you are like me you don’t want to be sold or have someone to try an convince you that they know what is best for you; and you want to be informed and make your own decision

Coaching is a key for you to take a hold of life

  • Are you willing to face a deeper truth and learn to act consciously in alignment with your real purpose?
  • Are you looking for more than just a "quick resolution" event?
  • Do you believe successful and lasting development comes from many small steps over a period of time?
  • Can you visualize yourself succeeding as a result of the change?

Imagine the benefits of growing as a result of the change--creating new opportunities, building a more exciting and dynamic future, and opening up new opportunities for success.

I have had the good fortune to witness lives changed! Some of these people are now authors, loving parents, ministers, computer experts, teachers and chief executive officers in the making.

Who Are We?

"The Community Visionary Team CVT" is a non-profit organization that leverages Social Network Communities. Our leadership style creates community systems and processes that enable others in the organization and community to become self-directed and empowered.

Self-direction has both a people and a process focus. Leaders are self-directed; they have a vision; they set goals and have a desire to achieve them. They don't need others to tell them what to do or how well to do it; but to encourage and support them in doing.

The Coaching Process:

Coaching is a major responsibility for CVT.  For many reasons there may be major challenges to carry the vision out, set goals or achieve them. Coaching is needed to maintain performance standards, to ensure people are following guidelines and capitalizing on resources already available to accomplish program design and community development by empowering people.

"Women of Purpose" provides the opportunity for members to build leadership skills by organizing and conducting meetings and motivating others to help them.

Social support for us is the physical and emotional comfort given to each other by our "Women of Purpose family", friends, co-workers and others. It is knowing that we are part of a community of people who love and care for one another, and value and think well of one another. Social support is a way of categorizing the rewards of our networking community.
