As a lifelong dieter and founder of the InSpirit Weight Loss program, Karen understands and shares some of the same challenges you face each day. She recognizes how difficult it is to make sustainable changes to lifelong behaviors without consistent encouragement and support personalized to meet your individual needs.
Karen’s goal is to empower, encourage and motivate you through your life and weight management journey so that you can live a healthier more rewarding lifestyle.
The process requires consideration of not only physical, but emotional and spiritual aspects of the issues as well. Her coaching services address all of these areas, significantly increasing your chances for long term success.
About Karen
Karen has struggled with weight management since childhood. She has tried numerous weight loss programs over the years always finding "something" missing from each. As a result, Karen started the InSpirit Weight Loss program to help her and a small group of friends achieve their weight loss and healthy lifestyle goals. To date, the group has lost hundreds of pounds, including Karen’s own 85 pound loss.
The program includes key ingredients missing in most weight loss programs:
- Compassion for the individual
- Accountability beyond just a number on the scale
- Meaningful relationships to encourage growth and success in all areas of life, which in turn will positively impact your weight loss efforts.
The InSpirit Program
Inspirit is a unique program based on Biblical principles that will help you to lose weight as you grow spiritually and develop relationships with others who share common goals and challenges.
Our Goals:
To Honor God: Our weight loss as well as the commitments we make and the relationships we build are a testimony to God’s Power to change us.
To Help Others: The InSpirit group provides essential emotional support and encouragement as you work your program and strengthen your relationship with God. We provide practical tools to assist you in your weight loss efforts. However, we do not recommend any particular diet plan; we simply encourage you as you work the program that works best for you.
To be Transformed: With the use of the recommended daily commitments, the encouragement of others and most importantly, the power of the Holy Spirit, we are confident you will experience positive results.

- Two key elements to the program are fellowship with God and fellowship with each other. We provide a number of opportunities during the week to meet with other InSpirit members for Bible study, fellowship and fitness. To help encourage you on a daily basis, we provide the InSpirit Online Network.
